Engine started, vehicle driven at cruise speed at light to medium engine load for 2 minutes, and the PCM detected it received erratic VSS signals or it detected incorrect Combination Meter signals.
How Can You Fix The Subaru P1540 Code?
- Check transaxle type (automatic)
- Check any other DTC on display
- Check speedometer operation in combination meter
- Check harness between ECM and combination meter connector
