What Does The Honda P1392 Code Mean?

Engine started, engine running, and the PCM detected the ‘G’ Sensor signal indicated less than 0.5v for 12.5 seconds over a 25 second period of time during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Honda P1392 Code?

  • ‘G’ sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground
  • ‘G’ sensor VREF circuit is open or shorted to ground (this circuit is also connected to the MAP sensor – check the MAP sensor)
  • ‘G’ sensor is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
