What Does The Honda P1391 Code Mean?

Engine started, engine running, vehicle speed indicating (0) mph, and the PCM detected the G-Sensor signal was more than 2.5v, or it was less than 1.5v for 1 minute, or with vehicle speed at 30-80 mph, the G-Sensor signal indicated a change of 0.0002v.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Honda P1391 Code?

  • ‘G’ sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground (intermittent fault)
  • ‘G’ sensor VREF circuit is open or shorted to ground (this circuit is also connected to the MAP sensor – check the MAP sensor)
