What Does The Chevrolet P1374 Code Mean?

Engine runtime over 3 seconds, and the PCM detected the ratio of 18X pulses received equaled 36:1, and the ratio of 18X REF pulses to 3X pulses did not equal 6:1 for 30 seconds.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chevrolet P1374 Code?

  • IC 3X signal wire routed close to Generator, spark plug wires or EMI/RFI interference
  • IC 3X signal circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to B+
