What Does The Cadillac P1323 Code Mean?

DTC P0340 and P1376 not set, engine started, engine speed over 496 rpm, at least 7 CMP sensor edges received this key cycle and at least one CMP REF pulse received in the last 4 seconds, and the PCM did not detect any 24X REF pulses (24X low for 4 seconds).

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1323 Code?

  • Ignition control (24X) circuit is open, shorted to ground or to B+
  • Ignition control (24X) circuit is shorted to another module circuit
  • Ignition module or the PCM is damaged or has failed
