What Does The Cadillac P1370 Code Mean?

DTC P1376 not set, engine speed over 496 rpm, at least 7 CMP pulses received since key “on”, and one CMP pulse received in last 250 ms, 48 24X pulses received between CMP pulses, and the PCM detected more than eight (8) 4X REF pulses between CMP pulses.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1370 Code?

  • Battery charger connected to the vehicle with engine running
  • Fuel control 4X circuit is open or shorted (intermittent fault)
  • IC 24X signal wire routed close to Generator, spark plug wires or EMI/RFI interference
  • High power transmitters mounted to close
