What Does The Honda P16C4 Code Mean?

With the ignition switch ON (ll), the IGSOL voltage is 4.0 V or less for at least 2.6 seconds during the active engine mount (ACM) control relay is on.

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshots, and review the general troubleshooting information.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Honda P16C4 Code?

  • Blown fuse
  • Poor connections or loose terminals at the engine mount control unit and the driver’s under-dash fuse/relay box (active control engine mount (ACM) control relay)
  • “Open” or “Short” to ground between engine mount control unit and driver’s under-dash fuse/relay box
  • Faulty (ACM) control relay in the driver’s under-dash fuse/relay box
  • Faulty engine mount control unit
