What Does The Ford P1550 Code Mean?

KOER Self-Test enabled, and the PCM detected the PSP switch signal did not change during the self-test. This code indicates the PSP input is out of its self-test range.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P1550 Code?

  • PSP switch circuit open or shorted, or the ground circuit open
  • Steering wheel was not rotated during the KOER Self-Test
  • PCM has failed
