What Does The Chevrolet P1651 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Cooling Fan Relay 2 control circuit for 30 seconds during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chevrolet P1651 Code?

  • Cooling fan relay 1 control circuit is open, shorted to ground or to system power
  • Cooling fan relay 1 power circuit is open (test COOL FAN1 fuse or the MAXI fuse)
  • Cooling fan relay 1 is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
