What Does The Chevrolet P1530 Code Mean?

No ECT, IAT or MAF codes set; engine speed under 1800 rpm, ECT sensor less than 88ºF, IAT sensor less than 82ºF, and the PCM detected the A/C Pressure switch was grounded for 5 seconds after engine startup.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chevrolet P1530 Code?

  • A/C pressure sensor circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • A/C pressure sensor circuit shorted to VREF or system power
  • A/C pressure sensor ground circuit is open
  • A/C pressure sensor VREF circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • A/C pressure sensor is damage
