What Does The Chrysler P1496 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the 5-volt VREF supply was less than 3.5v for 4 seconds during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1496 Code?

  • A/C pressure Sensor has failed (a short to ground condition)
  • MAP Sensor has failed (a short to ground condition)
  • TP Sensor has failed (a short to ground condition)
  • PCM has failed
