Key on or engine running; then after all module had initiated for the ignition cycle, one module (EBCM) stopped communicating and other modules set a code specific to the module not communicating. The controller area network (CAN) is a high-speed network.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac U2108 Code?

- Check for a loose connection at the EBCM
- Test the main power and ground circuits to the EBCM
- Check the CAN serial data circuit to the EBCM
- PCM may have failed
