What Does The Acura B1005 Code Mean?

This code indicates PCM or F-CAN loss of communication, B-CAN system loss of communication.

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTC’s, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis Test Mode A.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1005 Code?

Below are some possible causes of this DTC:

  • Faulty battery or charging system
  • PCM or F-CAN poor connections or loose pins at connectors
  • B-CAN system poor connections or loose pins at connectors
  • Faulty relay control module
