What Does The Cadillac P1122 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an intermittent low voltage condition on the TP sensor signal circuit (less than 0.16v) for 1 second during the test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1122 Code?

  • TP sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground (intermittent fault)
  • TP sensor VREF circuit is open or grounded (intermittent fault)
  • TP sensor is damaged or has failed (possible intermittent short)
  • PCM has failed
