What Does The Acura P1121 Code Mean?

Engine started, and the PCM detected an unexpected high signal of over 4.90v on the TP sensor circuit for 0.15 seconds over a 1.5 second period during the CCM continuous test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1121 Code?

  • TP sensor signal circuit is open between the sensor and PCM
  • TP sensor ground circuit is open between the sensor and PCM
  • TP sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF or system power
  • TP sensor is damaged or has failed
