Conditions for setting the DTC:
Engine started; system voltage over 10.0v and the PCM detected the TP Sensor 1 signal was less than 0.195v or more than 4.60v, or the difference between the TP1 and TP2 signals was more than 13% for 140 ms during the CCM test.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1120 Code?
Below are some potential causes of this DTC:
- TP1 sensor signal circuit is open, shorted to ground or to power
- TP1 sensor low reference circuit has high resistance condition
- TP1 sensor is damaged or has failed
