What Does The Cadillac P1106 Code Mean?

DTC P0121, P0122 and DTC P0123 not set, engine runtime from 1-2 minutes (depends on the ECT sensor at startup), TP angle below 89% with engine speed under 1000 rpm or TP angle below 97% with engine speed above 1000 rpm.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1106 Code?

  • MAP sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF (intermittent fault)
  • MAP sensor ground circuit is open (intermittent fault)
  • MAP sensor is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
