What Does The BMW P1636 Code Mean?

Engine started, and the battery voltage is greater than 7 volts, and the comparison of the throttle valve’s actual angle to its specified angle is great than 0.2 seconds and less than 0.5 seconds greater than a valve calculated from rpm and temperature.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The BMW P1636 Code?

  • TP sensor signal circuit is open (inspect wiring & connector)
