Engine cranking or running; and the PCM did not detect any signals from the Camshaft Position 2 (CMP) sensor during the CCM test.
Note: The engine will start and run without the CMP sensor signal.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1387 Code?
- CMP2 signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
- CMP2 pickup unit is damaged or has failed
- CMP2 sensor is damaged or has failed
- PCM has failed
