What Does The Acura P1162 Code Mean?

DTC P0131, P0132, P0133, P1163 not set, vehicle driven while in closed loop at over 55 mph in D4 for 1-2 minutes, and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the A/F circuit during the HO2S Monitor test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1162 Code?

  • A/F sensor may be contaminated or may have failed
  • Fuel supply system is too lean (exhaust leaks in front of HO2S)
  • Fuel supply system is too rich (fuel filter is clogged or dirty)
  • PCM has failed
