This code indicates poor communication between the Gauge Control Module and AcuraLink control unit.

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis test mode A.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B2212 Code?

  • Check for DTCs with the HDS and DTC log data in the navigation system diagnostic mode.
  • Poor connections or loose terminals at the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver)
  • “Open” circuit between the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the gauge control module
  • AcuraLink control unit needs to be updated with the latest software
  • Faulty acuraLink control unit
