What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1957 Code?
Below are some possible causes of this DTC:
- Loose or poor connections between the rear MICU and the Combination Switch Control Unit.
- Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
- Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box
- “Open” or “Short” Condition between the rear MICU and the Combination Switch Control Unit
- Faulty Combination Switch Control Unit
- Faulty Rear MICU, replace the rear fuse/relay box
How Serious Is This Acura B1957 Code?
Check possible solutions below:
- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
- If DTCs B1007, B1062, B1063, B1155, B1156, B1957, B1958, and/or B2969 are indicated, perform the Combination Switch Control Unit input test.
- If no codes are present, perform the rear MICU input test.
