What Does The Acura B1955 Code Mean?

Poor communication between the Rear Fuse/Relay Box and the MICU.

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

If DTCs B1055, B1056, B1057, B1157, B1159, B1180, B1255, B1955, B2155, B2156, and/or B2161 are indicated, perform the MICU input test.

If no codes are present, perform the rear MICU input test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1955 Code?

  • Loose or poor connections between the Rear Fuse/Relay Box and the MICU
  • Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
  • Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box
  • “Open” or “Short” Condition between the Rear Fuse/Relay Box and the MICU
  • Faulty MICU Under-Dash Fuse/Relay Box.
  • Faulty Rear Fuse/Relay Box and the MICU
