This code indicates poor communication between the Power Seat Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1811 Code?
Below are some possible causes of this DTC:
- Loose or poor connections between the Power Seat Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module
- Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
- Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box
- “Open or “Short” Condition between the Power Seat Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module
- Faulty Door Switch
- Faulty Power Seat Control Unit
- Faulty Gauge Control Module
How Can You Fix The Acura B1811 Code?
Check possible solutions below:
- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
- If DTCs B1011, B1060, B1061, B1205, B1357, B1359, B1408, B1805, B1806, B1906, and B2160 are also indicated, Perform the gauge control module input test.
- If no addition codes are present, replace the Power Seat Control Unit.
