What Does The Acura B1188 Code Mean?

This code indicates poor communication between the Gauge Control Module and the MICU.

Note:

• If DTCs B1055, B1056, B1057, B1255, B1955, B2155, B2156, and/or B2161 are indicated, perform the MICU input test.
• If no additional codes are present, perform the Gauge Control Module input test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1188 Code?

• Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
• Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box

• Faulty MICU
