What Does The Subaru P1500 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected “high or “low” voltage condition on the Cooling Fan Relay circuit or Sub Fan Relay circuit (for models with Air Conditioning) in the test.

How Can You Fix The Subaru P1500 Code?

  • Check any other DTC on display
  • Check output signal from ECM
  • Check power supply line for relays
  • Check main fan relay 1 and sub fan relay
  • Check for open circuit in radiator fan relay 1 control circuit
