What Does The Nissan P1444 Code Mean?

Engine running at cruise speed under light engine load conditions, and the PCM detected purge flow through the canister even though the Purge Volume Control valve was completed closed at this time.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Nissan P1444 Code?

  • EVAP control system pressure sensor is damaged or has failed
  • EVAP purge volume control valve is stuck open
