What Does The Nissan P1130 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Swirl Control Valve solenoid circuit, or the PCM detected that the vacuum signal was not sent to the valve with the solenoid commanded “on”.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Nissan P1130 Code?

  • Air leaks in the Intake Air System (e. g. , in the intake manifold)
  • Erratic or invalid signals from the APP sensor, CMP sensor, MAF sensor and Throttle Position sensor
  • Leaking hoses or tubes between the intake manifold, vacuum tank, and the swirl control solenoid valve
