What Does The Lexus P1406 Code Mean?

Engine started, engine running, MAF sensor more than 1.3 g/sec, and the PCM detected the Turbo Pressure sensor signal was less than 1.2v; or with the MAF sensor less than 0.45 g/sec, the Turbo Pressure sensor indicated more than 4.2v during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Lexus P1406 Code?

  • Boost Pressure sensor signal circuit open or shorted to ground
  • Boost Pressure sensor power or ground circuit is open
  • Boost Pressure sensor is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
