There are four Variable Valve Lift (VVL) Solenoids that control the operation of the Intake Rocker Arms for all six cylinders.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Jeep P105D Code?
- Inadequate oil pressure to one or more rocker arm
- VVL solenoid mechanical failure
- Rocker arm improperly installed/incorrect clearance between a rocker arm and the high lift (center) camshaft lobe
- Worn low lift cam lobe
- Rocker arm lock pin sticking/binding
