Engine started, engine speed less than 1000 rpm in closed loop, ECT sensor more than 158ºF, MAF sensor indicating less than 5.5 g/sec, EVAP purge is “off”, and the PCM detected the Short Term fuel trim “rich” command exceeded 10-15% for over 30 seconds.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Hyundai P1123 Code?
- Base engine “mechanical” fault affecting one or more cylinders
- EVAP system component has failed or canister fuel saturated
- Exhaust leaks located in front of the HO2S location
- Fuel control sensor is out of calibration (i. e. , ECT, IAT or MAP)
