OVERVIEWWhat Does The Honda P1297 Code Mean?
The ELD output voltage is 0.27 V or less for at least 5 seconds. The execution time is continuous and DTC P1298 is not active. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Honda P1297 Code?
- Poor connections or loose terminals at the ELD and the PCM
- “Short” circuit between the PCM and the ELD
- Faulty left side engine compartment wire harness
- Faulty ELD
- PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
- Faulty PCM
