What Does The Honda B1277 Code Mean?

A malfunction has been detected in the headlight AUTO position circuit.

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Honda B1277 Code?

  • “Open” or “Short” between driver’s under-dash fuse/relay box and the combination light switch
  • Faulty driver’s MICU; replace the driver’s under-dash fuse/relay box
  • Faulty combination light switch
