What Does The Ford P1513 Code Mean?

Engine started, and the PCM detected the IMRC Monitor indicated the IMRC was not functioning correctly during the self-test period.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P1513 Code?

  • IMRC actuator cable/gears are seized, or the cables are improperly routed or seized
  • IMRC control circuit open, shorted or the VPWR circuit is open
  • IMRC housing return springs are damaged or disconnected
  • Leaky vacuum reservoir, vacuum lines loose or dam
