What Does The Ford P1469 Code Mean?

Engine started, and with the A/C selected, PCM detected frequent cycling of the A/C compressor clutch. This test was designed to protect the transmission. In some strategies, the PCM will unlock the torque converter during A/C clutch engagement.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Ford P1469 Code?

  • Cycling pressure switch circuit open between pin 41 (ACCS) and the PCM, or the IGN RUN circuit is open to the cycling pressure switch circuit (if applicable)
  • Mechanical A/C system concern (i. e. , low refrigerant charge, damaged A/C switch)
