What Does The Chrysler P1597 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the S/C switch was in a continuous low voltage state (below 4.50v) during the CCM test

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1597 Code?

  • S/C On/Off switch is shorted to ground
  • S/C switch (MUX switch) is shorted to ground
  • S/C switch (MUX switch) is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
