Engine started, and the PCM detected the Charging System voltage was too high even after it tried to lower the output.
Note: The Generator illuminates when this code sets
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1594 Code?
- Battery temperature Sensor is damaged or has failed (skewed)
- Generator field driver circuit is shorted to ground
- Generator has an internal short circuit condition
- PCM has failed
