What Does The Chrysler P1492 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the BTS signal indicated more than 4.90v for 3 seconds during the CCM test

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chrysler P1492 Code?

  • BTS signal circuit is open between the Sensor and the PCM
  • BTS ground circuit is open between the Sensor and the PCM
  • BTS (Sensor) is damaged or the PCM has failed
