What Does The Chevrolet P1EA6 Code Mean?

This code indicates that the hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2 has detected an open, short to voltage or short to ground on the 14 V power module cooling fan control circuit.

Conditions for setting the DTC:

  • The 12 V battery voltage is greater than or equal to 9 V.
  • The 14 V power module fan is enabled
