What Does The Chevrolet P1AED Code Mean?

This DTC indicates a difference of more than 50 V on the high voltage circuit is detected between the motor control module and the hybrid powertrain control module 2.

Conditions for setting the DTC:

  • The hybrid/EV battery system contactor relays are closed.
  • Ignition voltage is 8 V and no more than 18 V.
  • P1AEC, P1AE8 or P1AE9 are not set.
