What Does The Chevrolet P1673 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Engine Hot Lamp control circuit for 30 seconds during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chevrolet P1673 Code?

  • Engine hot lamp control circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • Engine hot lamp is shorted to system power (B+)
  • Engine hot lamp power circuit is open (test the GAUGES fuse)
  • Engine hot lamp (bulb) is open or missing
  • PCM has failed
