What Does The Chevrolet P1043 Code Mean?
The battery voltage is greater than 11 V. The engine speed is greater than 600 RPM. The engine run time is greater than 10 s. The DTCs run continuously once the above conditions are met.
This code will set when the ECM detects that the commanded state of the driver and the actual state of the control circuit do not match for greater than 3 s.
