What Does The Chevrolet P1020 Code Mean?

Engine operating on CNG, PCM not in Fuel Shutoff or Decel Fuel Shutoff modes, system voltage from 6-18v, and the FICM (module) detected an invalid fuel injector PWM signal.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chevrolet P1020 Code?

  • AF fuel mode relay circuit (odd bank, even bank) is open
  • AF enable circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • FICM is damaged or it has failed
