What Does The Cadillac U1305 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; system voltage supplied to the module is in the normal operating voltage range, vehicle power mode requires serial data communication to occur, and the PCM did no detect any valid messages on the Class 2 circuit.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac U1305 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • Class 2 serial data line has either a high or low voltage condition on the circuit, and the module cannot identify the fault
  • One or more modules on Class 2 line has an short to power
  • One or more modules on the Class 2 line has a short to ground
