What Does The Cadillac P1AEE Code Mean?

Conditions for setting the DTC:

  • The hybrid/EV battery system contactor relays are closed.
  • Ignition voltage is 8 V and no more than 18 V.
  • P1AEC DTCs P1AE8 or P1AE9 are not set.
  • P1AED DTCs P1AEA or P1AEB are not set.
  • Greater than 425 V on the high voltage circuit is detected by the motor control module.
