OVERVIEWWhat Does The Cadillac P1AE4 Code Mean?
P1AE2, P1AE3 and P1AE4 The ignition voltage is 9-18 V. Wake up signal is active. Battery energy control module is supplying current on the high voltage interlock circuit. This normally occurs when high voltage contactor relays are closed.
- The battery energy control module detects high voltage interlock source current is less than 5 mA and high voltage interlock return current is greater than 35 mA.
 - DTC P1AE4 sets within 1 second when the above condition is met.
