What Does The Cadillac P1795 Code Mean?

Engine started, system voltage at 8-18v, no other CAN codes set, and the TCM received invalid throttle plate position data from the PCM for 2 seconds. The PCM sends throttle plate position data to the TCM. The data is sent to the TCM via the CAN.

How Can You Fix The Cadillac P1795 Code?

  • Perform the Diagnostic System Check for the Engine Controls
  • TCM may need to be replaced to repair this trouble code
