What Does The Cadillac P1792 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the ECT sensor signal was below the lower or over the upper limit, or that the ECT signal was unreliable for one second. The engine temperature signal is sent to the TCM by the PCM via a controller area network
