What Does The Cadillac P1644 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running in closed loop, brake pedal not applied, and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Delivered Torque Output circuit for 10 seconds during the CCM test. The EBCM controls the PWM signal on the Desired Torque circuit

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1644 Code?

  • Delivered torque circuit is open, shorted to ground or to B+
  • EBCM is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
