What Does The Cadillac P1577 Code Mean?

DTC P0107, P0108, P0703 and P1106 not set, Engine started; and the PCM detected the Brake Booster Vacuum indicated less than -8 kPa or less for 2 seconds.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1577 Code?

  • BBV sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • BBV sensor VREF is open or shorted to ground
  • BBV sensor is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
